Standard Fee Structure For Tenants
IF YOU RENT A PROPERTY THROUGH RICHARD EVERETT LETTINGS, THE FOLLOWING THREE NON-OPTIONAL FEES COULD APPLY:
RESERVATIONS - Upon receipt of the REFERENCE APPLICATION(S) and a non-refundable ADMINISTRATION FEE of £114.00, (including VAT), per ADULT or GUARANTOR (if required), Richard Everett Lettings will treat the property as "LET, SUBJECT TO REFERENCING". This Fee covers the cost of obtaining references, where applicable, from a landlord, bank and employer, together with carrying out Right to Rent and credit checks. The property will only be remarketed if an application is declined by the Referencing Company, or fails the "Right to Rent" check.
INVENTORY - The cost of a standard Inventory* is £240.00, (including VAT at the ruling rate), which is shared equally between the Landlord and the Tenant(s). Therefore, Tenants will pay £120.00, (including VAT at the ruling rate), towards the Inventory cost, unless it is to be provided by the Landlord at his and/or her expense.
PETS – If permission is granted for a pet, an additional Deposit of £200.00, will be required before the start of the Tenancy.
* The standard cost of the Inventory is £240.00 which is shared equally between the Landlord and the Tenant(s). Non-standard, part-furnished, furnished, or larger properties may attract a higher fee, which will be agreed with the Landlord before marketing begins.
